Vocalist and guitarist Ernie Hendrickson, native of Shullsburg, Wisconsin grew up on a steady diet of Willie Nelson, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, and Jerry Garcia. With a career spanning multiple albums and creative collaborations with some of the finest musicians in the industry, Ernie continues to evolve as an artist, bringing an honest and soulful voice to American roots music. After having spent much of the last two decades honing his craft as a singer-songwriter rooted in the storytelling traditions of artists like Tom Petty and John Hiatt, Truckin Up To SPACE marks a full circle moment, returning to the free musical explorations of his roots in The Seed Band, the Rockford, IL-based jam band of the late 90s/early 2000s. The Ernie Hendrickson Band is comprised of all-star Chicago musicians, including Gerald Dowd, Brian Wilkie, Brother John Kattke, and Peter Muschong. Each performance is a unique exploration of melody and spirit, a must-see for any music lover.
