Tyla & Dogs D’Amour ‘FORTY YEARS OF RAINS - SIXTY FIVE YEARS OF DISGRACE Tour 2026' Forty years since the release of ‘How Come it Never Rains’ …. That is a lot of water under the bridge - in more ways than one. TYLA J PALLAS & DOGS D’AMOUR are about to undertake one of their busiest touring years since they formed in the 1980’s.With dates all over the UK, 2026 will see them return to play for their fans in Scandinavia, Spain & Italy. No doubt more countries will be added at some stage. At the moment it is full steam ahead and even a new album this yer cannot be ruled out. When Tyla is busy he sure is busy. DOGS D’AMOUR 2026They come and they go. The DOGS D’AMOUR have never been ones to just keep going for the sake of it. They always come back - better and bluesier than ever. Tyla J Pallas has led his Dogs since 1983. He left Kitsch and slowly assembled all the working parts for what was to become DOGS D’AMOUR. They quickly established an image and reputation that was to thrust them to the fore of the blues driven rock. A genre so long purveyed by the likes of The Stones and Faces. Their good looks and big hair fitted perfectly with the new style of rock coming out of the West Coast. They based themselves in London and became a part of the Soho scene along with the QUIREBOYS and others hanging out in the sleazy smoke-filled dive bars. But success was not immediate and they had to spend long days and nights coaxing the rusting Transit up and down the motorways. It paid off as China Records picked them up and contracts were signed. The world was theirs for the taking. And take it they did. They were a hard rocking, fast living ‘A Grade bonafide Rock and Roll band - and they lived the life. A Top 30 hit and TV appearances consecrated DOGS D’AMOUR as bad boys. They went off to Los Angeles to live the dream and record the big album. But that was not in the script. Despite live appearances the USA press and media did not take to the English upstarts and turned their backs on them. Tyla led his disappointed Dogs back to U.K. And so began break ups and the reunions. Tyla headed off to Spain and concentrated on his solo career as singer/ songwriter, Troubadour and artist. When he was ready he moved back to his homeland and rebuilt the DOGS D’AMOUR alongside his solo work. It proved too be an inspired move. The fusion ensured that new material stood equally alongside classic Dogs work. It was the best of both worlds. Whenever you see a DOGS D’AMOUR or Tyla show the audience gets 100% entertainment. Songs, stories, sing-a-longs welcome, indeed encouraged from this timeless performer and old dog.
