Following its New York performance this summer at Carnegie Hall, the Vienna Royal Orchestra brings its VIVA MOZART 270 celebration to Jacobs Music Center in San Diego. This special concert honors the 270th anniversary of the birth of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, one of history's most beloved and influential musical geniuses. Audiences will enjoy an inspiring program of Mozart's timeless masterpieces, performed by distinguished musicians from Europe and the United States. Internationally celebrated pianist Tian Jiang appears as soloist in Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 23 in A Major, K. 488. Praised as "a thoughtful interpreter" by The New York Times and "a deeply persuasive Mozartean" by The Los Angeles Times, he is recognized for performances that combine poetic artistry, technical mastery, and expressive depth.
