Optimo have been on our booking wish list for quite some time — and it’s easy to understand why. All you have to do is watch some of their outrageous sets on YouTube to see what we mean. AVA Boiler Room is a classic. 

Optimo (Espacio) — the seminal duo of JD Twitch & JG Wilkes — have played a vital role in shaping the electronic music landscape in their hometown of Glasgow and far beyond. Renowned for their boundary-pushing, multi-genre approach and their genuine connection to club culture, fans, and promoters alike, their influence has helped define the golden era of electronic music we’re experiencing today. The scene simply wouldn’t be the same without artists like them.

We are deeply saddened by the recent passing of Keith. His loss will be profoundly felt — in Scotland and across the global dance music community.
