With a 14-year gap since the last James Bond game, there was a strong demand for 007 First Light, and it’s officially a hit. Centered around a young Bond, the action-adventure title has already moved 1.5 million copies within its first 24 hours of release, according to developer IO Interactive.
Featuring a mix of action-oriented and stealth gameplay, 007 First Light has been compared to acclaimed games such as Hitman, Uncharted, and the Batman: Arkham series. It’s earned an 87 score on Metacritic.
007 First Light is available now for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. You can also pre-order it for Switch 2 before it arrives on the Nintendo handheld on September 30th.
