“I’m sorry for the men that hurt you, but I’m not sorry for the songs that came from it,” Feimster told Morissette towards the end of the episode. “Those are pretty amazing.”
Then Feimster dropped a massive question. “Did it make you want to be a lesbian at any point?” she asked the singer. Morissette nodded her head and said, “I’m pansexual, so, yeah.” She followed that up by joking, “I get everything.”
The admission stunned Notaro, who said, “Wait. You’re not really pansexual are you?” Morissette, in a more serious tone, clarified by reiterating what she had said. “I am,” Morissette added.
Notaro was surprised she didn’t already know this about Morissette and humorously said, “You’re supposed to come into the Handsome podcast leading with ‘I’m pansexual.’”
Then you learned another characteristic of Morissette. She saves the best for last. “I like to leave it for the epilogue,” she joked.
