Directed by Warren Fu and brought to life with puppets from Splitting Image, the company behind the British TV program of the same name and Genesis’ “Land Of Confusion” video, the clip skewers the billionaire class and its influence over the media, war, and culture at large. Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, and Rupert Murdoch all get the puppet treatment, with Musk and Bezos having their own subplot as lovers.

The video also features appearances by creative visionaries whose work was misunderstood or underappreciated in their time, including Lou Reed, Stanley Kubrick, and Bach. Rick Rubin, who produced The Strokes’ latest album, Reality Awaits, music critic Anthony Fantano, and Greta Thunberg also make puppet appearances, as do The Strokes themselves.
