The Killers frontman Brandon Flowers has released “Plans,” the first single from his upcoming solo country album, THRASHER. Stream it below.

Backed by acoustic guitar, a string section, harmonica, and piano, “Plans” sees Flowers addressing a familiar topic: dealing with the fallout of unrealized dreams. “I didn’t know the cards were stacked,” he sings. “Whispering sweet nothings about/ Gearing up and chasing down/ A plan I drew up years ago.”
