Cardi B has explained who she had in mind while making her new single “Ah Ha,” saying the track takes aim at people who believe she is concerned with them or their relationships.

“Everybody!” Cardi told Vogue Arabia when asked who the song was directed at. “There’s a lot of jealousy around me,” she added, pointing in particular to women who think she wants their partners or see themselves as her competition.

The rapper said the sentiment extends beyond women, however, adding that the song also addresses “men and everybody that I’m dealing with.”

Her comments coincide with the release of the official music video for “Ah Ha” on Friday. Filmed in Brooklyn’s Sunset Park neighborhood, the video also features Kash Doll, whom Cardi name-checks on the track.

The DJ SwanQo-produced “Ah Ha” was released on July 31st and debuted at No. 25 on the Billboard Hot 100. It marked Cardi’s first solo single since her 2025 sophomore album, Am I the Drama?

Cardi also confirmed to Vogue Arabia that she is already working on her next album, following her first arena run, the Little Miss Drama Tour, earlier this year.
