No one is going to bat an eye at a celebrity launching an OnlyFans account in this economy — especially when foot pics are such a lucrative source of income — and we’re not here to yuck anyone’s yum. However, news of 85-year-old former Knots Landing star Donna Mills joining the creator subscription platform certainly raises an eyebrow based on her age alone.

Based on the page’s description and a statement given to Variety, it appears the move is partially for novelty’s sake as well as an easy way for Mills to cash in on the attention she has gained from recent viral videos.

“Social media has been a wonderful way to stay connected, but I’m excited to join OnlyFans because it offers the opportunity for a more personal and direct connection,” Mills explained in a statement. This means “sharing moments from my daily life, behind-the-scenes glimpses, and engaging with fans in a more meaningful way” on her page, which she’ll use as “another platform to spend quality time with the people who’ve supported me throughout my career while staying true to who I am.”

Mills’ manager, CEO of Creators INC Andy Bachman, added that the move was “not about changing who she is.” Instead, it’s about “giving her longtime fans more access to the personality, style, and behind-the-scenes moments they already love. Donna has always been fearless and ahead of her time. She told me, ‘YOLO — let’s do it,’ and that perfectly captures her attitude. She is approaching OnlyFans on her own terms and creating a space that feels authentic, personal, and completely true to her.”

It’s not clear whether any of this includes nudes or foot pics.

Regardless, Mills likely saw an opportunity after going viral with an Instagram video hitting back at a commenter who called her out for wearing “too much makeup for your age.” Clad in a cool black leather jacket, the actress said she “didn’t get the memo” about how people her age are supposed to look before briefly morphing into a stereotypical grandmother. “Sorry, not sorry,” she continued. “I like the way I look. This is my style, and style doesn’t have an expiration date.”

The post gained over 1 million views and 100,000 likes, with Mills reacting to the attention by saying, “If you told me at 85 I’d be going viral on social media, I wouldn’t have believed you… but here we are. I’ve spent a lifetime speaking up and speaking out, and I’ve always believed it lands best with a wink, not a jab. I’m so glad this moment found its audience exactly as intended.”

The OnlyFans account could also be another way to promote her We’re Knot Done Yet podcast with fellow Knots Landing stars Joan Van Ark and Michele Lee, making this seem more like a Patreon-type situation.

We’re not going to put Donna Mills in a box, though. If she wants to put out the content that OnlyFans is notorious for and there’s an audience for it, age is nothing but a number, and the money is there for the taking.

American Pie and Scary Movie star Shannon Elizabeth reportedly brought in more than $1.2 million during her first seven days on OnlyFans in April, and singer Lily Allen previously said she was making more money from foot pics on OnlyFans than Spotify streams of her music.
