Flavor Flav Offers to Host US Women’s Hockey Team in Las Vegas

Flavor Flav has once again come up big for Team USA, this time offering to host the women’s gold medal hockey team after they were disrespected by Donald Trump.

While speaking with the US men’s hockey team following its gold medal win over Canada, Trump invited the players to attend Tuesday’s State of the Union, then adding, “I must tell you, we’re gonna have to bring the women’s team — you do know that.” If they weren’t invited, Trump said, “I do believe I probably would be impeached, OK?”

The women’s team declined Trump’s invitation, citing “previously scheduled academic and professional commitments.” But Flavor Flav is hoping the team take him up on his offer to host them in Las Vegas.

“If the USA Women’s Hockey team wants a real celebration and invite ,,, I’ll host them in Las Vegas,” the Public Enemy rapper posted on X on Monday. “Do some nice dinners and shows and good times. I’m sure I can get a hotel and airline to help me out here and celebrate these women for real for real.” He followed that up by sharing an email his representative sent to Doug Ferry, hockey operations and event manager for the US Women’s National Program, reaffirming his offer. And already both StubHub and Alaska Airlines have reached out to Flav over social media seemingly offering to cover the women’s show tickets and airfare.

Over the last few years, Flavor Flav has become a champion of Olympic sports, having served as the official sponsor and “hype man” for the US bobsled and skeleton team at the 2026 Winter Olympics and the US water’s polo team at the 2024 Summer Olympics.
