Hayley Williams closed out the European leg of her “Hayley Williams At A Bachelorette Party” tour at Dublin’s National Stadium last night (June 30th), and she honored the late Irish icon Sinéad O’Connor with a cover of “Mandinka.”
The cover arrived towards the end of Williams’ set; following cries of “Free, free Palestine,” she introduced the cover by dedicating it to “all the Irish artists who use their voice.” Williams then brought her usual skyscraping vocals and provided a soaring rendition of the O’Connor song, guitar in hand. Williams will be back in the US later this summer to embark on her “The Hayley Williams Show” tour.
