Ms. Lauryn Hill Performs Touching Tribute to D’Angelo and Roberta Flack at 2026 Grammys: Watch

Ms. Lauryn Hill returned to the Grammy Awards stage to perform a stirring tribute to the late D’Angelo and Roberta Flack at the 2026 Grammy Awards. Watch the medley performance below.

The artist took the stage during the “In Memoriam” section of the ceremony, performing her D’Angelo collab “Nothing Even Matters” after she noted the two never had the chance to perform the song on stage together. She was then joined by a cast of R&B stars, including Bilal, Leon Thomas, Lucky Daye, Jon Batiste, and John Legend, culminating with a duet of “Killing Me Softly” with Wyclef Jean. The latter transitioned into the Fugees version.

Elsewhere in the segment, Post Malone, Duff McKagan, Slash, and Chad Smith honored Ozzy Osbourne with a rendition of “War Pigs,” while Reba McEntire, Brandy Clark, and Lukas Nelson also honored several musical icons who passed away by performing McEntire’s own “Trailblazer.”
