In less than two years, Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham have gone from barely being able to share a room to calling a truce and are now apparently are “talking all the time.”
After a public falling out with Nicks and Buckingham’s subsequent dismissal from Fleetwood Mac in 2018, the longtime collaborators had maintained a frosty relationship for years. However, in an interview with E! News, Buckingham credited the recent reissue of Buckingham Nicks, as well as their work on an upcoming Fleetwood Mac documentary, with helping lead to their reconciliation.
“I think the process of making that has been a very circular healing process for all of us,” he explained. “Because we had left things in 2019, maybe as far as I was concerned, not in a very good place for all the wrong reasons. No one was happy about it, and all of that has been healed and worked out.”
Buckingham said he and Nicks “are talking all the time now,” adding, “Next year should be a pretty interesting year… because I think quite a few things will reveal themselves.”
