Turns out Morrissey didn’t need “one year to recover” from his March concert cancellation after all. The singer has announced a 2026 summer and fall US tour in support of his latest album, Make-Up Is a Lie.
The trek kicks off in Las Vegas on August 14th with a four-show run and will also stop in cities including Buffalo, Nashville, Houston, Tempe, and Washington, DC. Morrissey is also scheduled for appearances at CBGB Festival and Darker Waves. See his full touring itinerary below.
Tickets will first be available through an artist pre-sale on Wednesday, April 29th at 12:00 p.m. local time, followed by a Live Nation pre-sale for select dates on Thursday, April 30th at the same time. Fans can sign up for Live Nation’s free All Access membership to receive access. The general on-sale begins on Friday, May 1st at 12:00 p.m. local time via Ticketmaster.
The announcement of these new tour dates comes after Morrissey revealed a summer European trek last week. Tickets for those shows can be purchased here.
As a word of warning, Morrissey has canceled or postponed more than 200 concerts since 2012, including a gig in Valencia, Spain, due to “sleep deprivation” from a noisy hotel. At the time, he posted a statement on Morrissey Central claiming he would need a year to recover from the “indescribable hell.”
In other news, Morrissey has announced the June 19th release of Deluxe Notre-Dame EP, which features unreleased tracks from the sessions for latest album, including “Notre-Dame (Orchestrated Version),” “Hello Hell,” and “Happy New Tears.” Pre-orders are ongoing here.
