Nelly is reportedly gearing up to perform at a members-only club owned by the president’s son, Donald Trump Jr., in Washington DC, ahead of this weekend’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
The Grammy-winning rapper is said to be taking the stage on April 24th at Executive Branch, an exclusive club in Georgetown where a membership is rumored to start at $500,000. Per Politico, the guest list will feature senior Trump administration officials, leaders from the business and tech sector, and “non-fake news media.”
This won’t be Nelly’s first performance for the Trump family. He previously played at Donald Trump’s Liberty Inaugural Ball following his inauguration in January 2025. “I’m not doing this for money, I’m doing this because it’s an honor. I respect the office. It doesn’t matter who is in office,” he said of the performance at the time.
In fact, Nelly has been shouting out to Trump Sr. since 2000, when he rapped “Donald Trump/ Let me in now/ Spend now, I got money to lend my friends now” on his hit “Country Grammar (Hot Shit).”
Beyond his appearance at Executive Branch, Nelly is also slated to appear at this summer’s MAGA-adjacent Rock the Country traveling festival.
NEW: Tomorrow night's party at Executive Branch, the MAGA-friendly club co-founded by Donald Trump Jr. and business executive Omeed Malik, is shaping up to be one of the buzziest of the weekend.
