Phoebe Bridgers continued the surprise-filled rollout for her new album, Lost Weekend, with an unannounced guest appearance on The Tonight Show on Tuesday night. Accompanied by a band of young musicians, Bridgers delivered the worldwide television debut — not to mention the first full on-camera public performance — of the album’s lead single, “Lost Boys.”

Lost Weekend, Bridgers’ first new solo album in six years, arrives on August 14th via Dead Oceans. She first teased the project by embarking on a series of surprise pop-up up concerts, which culminated in a $1 gig at Madison Square Garden in June. Lost Boys follows Bridgers’ 2020 breakout Punisher, and pre-orders are ongoing. In 2023, Bridgers also released The Record with her boygenius bandmates Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker.
