Following the shocking murder of Rob Reiner on Sunday night, his comments about the assassination of Charlie Kirk have gone viral. During one of his final interviews on Piers Morgan Uncensored, Reiner said the shooting was “an absolute horror,” adding, “That should never happen to anybody.”
“I don’t care what your political beliefs are,” he continued. “That’s not acceptable. That’s not a solution to solving problems.” Reiner also said he believed in forgiveness and expressed admiration for Kirk’s wife, Erika Kirk, for extending it to her husband’s assassin.
Donald Trump made it clear he doesn’t share that sentiment about forgiveness, mocking Reiner’s death in a Truth Social post on Monday morning.
