The concert album Scott Weiland: Live will be released on CD and digitally for the first time on October 23rd. Ahead of its release, a video of the late Stone Temple Pilots singer’s performance of “Interstate Love Song” has been unveiled.

The live performance of STP’s “Interstate Love Song,” like the rest of the album, comes from Weiland’s 2009 solo tour in support of his Happy in Galoshes album. Weiland is in peak form, delivering the already bright ’60s psych pop chorus in an effortless and natural way, absolutely unencumbered, underscoring just how special he was as a singer.
Scott Weiland: Live was originally released earlier as a Record Store Day exclusive on blue vinyl. In addition to the digital and CD releases, a new special red vinyl edition is also arriving on October 23rd, with pre-orders available here.
