Trey Parker and Matt Stone have confirmed that the next season of South Park will premiere on September 16th. The duo shared the news during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday, where they also discussed how they came up with the idea to turn JD Vance into Tattoo from Fantasy Island and showed off the foreskin used for Donald Trump’s deepfake penis.
Kimmel joked that Parker and Stone should probably be “in a gulag somewhere” by now, to which Parker responded: “We hide behind cartoons.”
Update: Per a press release from Comedy Central, Season 29 will once again be released in a bi-weekly format, with new episodes arriving September 16th, September 30th, October 14th, October 28th, November 11th, and November 25th.
