Jason Sudeikis looks to conquer new horizons in the first trailer for Ted Lasso Season 4 as he switches to coaching a women’s soccer team. Watch the new clip below.
Harkening to the show’s first season, Sudeikis cheerfully takes on the opportunity, accompanied by his longtime assistant, Coach Beard (Brendan Hunt). The difference is that he already has established relationships with wealthy owner Rebecca Welton (Hannah Waddingham) and director of operations Leslie Higgins (Jeremy Swift), as well as friendships with Keeley Jones (Juno Temple) and Roy Kent (Brett Goldstein).

So, Lasso is no longer a fish out of water, but the official logline teases that coaching a second division women’s football team is “his biggest challenge yet.” The description continues, “Throughout the course of the season, Ted and the team learn to leap before they look, taking chances they never thought they would.”
As seen in the trailer, the returning fan favorites are joined by new cast members Tanya Reynolds, Jude Mack, Faye Marsey, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey, Abbie Hern, and Grant Feely.
Season 4 of Ted Lasso premieres on August 5th, with episodes dropping weekly until October 7th. In the meantime, you can watch the first three seasons on Apple TV or pick them up on Blu-ray.
