Triumph have announced the cancellation of the fall leg of their 50th Anniversary tour “due to sudden and unexpected medical circumstances affecting the band.”
The US outing had been scheduled to kick off on November 17th in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and run through December 12th in San Diego. It would have followed a very successful spring North American run, which marked the veteran Canadian rock band’s first proper tour in 30 years.
A statement posted Friday on the band’s social media pages reads as follows:
“It is with deep disappointment that we announce the cancellation of the remaining 2026 RELOADED Tour dates due to sudden and unexpected medical circumstances affecting the band. With the second leg of the tour set to begin in just under three weeks, these circumstances prevent us from being able to rehearse and move forward with the current shows as planned. We recognize that this announcement comes on short notice, and sincerely apologize for the disappointment and inconvenience this will cause.
To our fans: thank you for your patience, understanding, and unwavering support. We’ve always known that TRIUMPH has the best fans in the world, and are continually humbled by the love you show us. Your support means more than we can put into lyrics, especially during a difficult time like this. Thankfully, the outlook is positive and we will be back on stage with you as soon as possible.
All tickets purchased for the affected dates will be refunded automatically through the original point of purchase. Ticketholders do not need to take any action to initiate their refunds. Fans with questions regarding their orders should contact the ticket provider from which they purchased their tickets.”
Triumph were supposed to tour with the same lineup as they did for the spring outing, with classic members Rik Emmett (guitar, vocals) and Gil Moore (drums, vocals) playing alongside Bon Jovi guitarist Phil X and Slash Featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators members Todd Kerns (bass) and Brent Fitz (drums).
