Alabama Ballet Presents Swan Lake

Swan Lake returns as Alabama Ballet celebrates the 150th anniversary of this iconic ballet. Set to Tchaikovsky's unforgettable score, the ballet tells a haunting story of love and betrayal between Prince Siegfried and Odette, a young woman bound by a sorcerer's curse. By night, Odette is human; by day, she is transformed into a swan, living beside a moonlit lake. When Siegfried vows his devotion, hope for her freedom appears within reach. Deception and illusion soon test that promise, placing love and loyalty at risk. Richly atmospheric staging and sweeping choreography bring this timeless tale to life. Rooted in classical tradition, the ballet blends romance, drama, and fantasy. Swan Lake continues to captivate audiences as one of the most enduring works in the ballet repertoire.
