Black Arts Fest MKE returns to the lakefront on Saturday, August 1, 2026, from Noon to 10 PM—and you don’t want to miss it! Celebrate the richness of Black culture and African heritage at Milwaukee’s signature summer festival, packed with music, food, fashion, art, dance, poetry, and community for all ages.

This year’s festival features a tribute to musical legend Michael Jackson, lighting up the stage with an unforgettable performance. We've also got your festival favorites like the Dynamic Divine 9 Day Party, celebrating historically Black fraternities and sororities with a high-energy roll call and step show. Dont forget the Car Show, Paint & Sip, Poetry Unplugged, Chess 'n the Park, free horse rides and fantatic vendor shopping from local retailers to amazing African imports. And don’t miss Milwaukee’s largest festival line dance—so bring your boots, your fan, and your best cowboy hat! -- and dont get us started on the great food vendors. Just come check out our food truck village.

This is a multigenerational family-fun celebration for kids, teens, adults, and elders alike. We have a full Kids Stage & Family Village featuring DJ Homer Blow, Young MKE, and more.

Early Bird tickets General Admission is just $20, now through June 19, 2026. After that, General Admission is $20, Seniors $20, Youth $15, and credentialed veterans and kids 7 and under are FREE. Family Reunion, and group sales are available now! Email us at info@blackartsfestmke.com for more detail.

Let’s celebrate the culture, the music, and the vibe—together.
