On Saturday, June 20, Mystic Lake Amphitheater will debut in Shakopee with a $20 opening night celebration featuring a curated lineup of homegrown talent. Setting the Stage The event celebrates the opening of the Twin Cities Metros new home for summer concerts with an evening of Minnesota music, comedy and community. Artists who will help set the stage include Motion City Soundtrack, Ber, and Rocket Club, along with a performance by the next generation of talent from School of Rock as the first act to take the amphitheaters stage. St. Paul native and Saturday Night Live cast member Tommy Brennan will host. A headliner will be announced at a later date. The festivities will run from 6:00 to 11:00 p.m., with a portion of proceeds benefiting The Salt Cure Restaurant Recovery Fund, supporting Minnesotas restaurant workers and businesses.
