Next Thing has remained a potent collection of songs, some of which have been sprinkled into Frankie Cosmos set lists for the past decade. Now, for the first time since its release, the current line-up of Frankie Cosmos will perform the album in its entirety. They have also re-worked songs from their more recent catalogue through the lens of the Next Thing sound -- a simplified drum kit, a single Casio keyboard, and a Danelectro guitar with no pedals. The tour dates are in support of the anniversary vinyl release: a remaster that includes 3 previously unreleased demos of songs from the album.
