Gary Puckett & The Union Gap is one of the most successful American pop-rock groups of the late 1960s, known for their powerful melodic ballads, Puckett's distinctive baritone voice, and their signature Civil War-era Union Army uniforms. At the peak of their success, the band achieved six consecutive gold records and briefly outsold prominent contemporary acts, including The Beatles. Some of the most notable hits: "Young Girl," "Lady Willpower", "This Girl Is a Woman Now" and more.
