Isobel Knight writes and plays songs where the venn diagram circles of Julia Jacklin and Bruce Springsteen cross over. Her versatile voice and lyricism have carried her soul-influenced alternative folk rock into hearts and charts, with her sophomore “Here Now” debuting at #5 in the independent album charts. Standing at 4ft11 and a half, with steel lungs and an infectious smile, self-taught multi-instrumentalist andie blends old-school jazz melodies, folk-style storytelling and bluesy guitar tones into a warm, lo-fi sound all her own. With millions of listeners worldwide and performances spanning the Sydney Opera House, major folk festivals Woodford + The National Folk and international tours to the UK + US, andie delivers intimate and poignant songs that reframe heartbreak with wit and ferocity. Together, andie + Isobel Knight have travelled the world together to tour their music. Close friends since age 5, their enduring 24 years of friendship proves impervious and their lust for life contagious.
