Every Thursday, Boisdale of Canary Wharf hands the decks to Lola So - a South London powerhouse known for bass-heavy, percussion-led sets that move from 80bpm slow-burners to 170bpm rollers without missing a beat. Her style is instinctive, genre-fluid and laced with soul, effortlessly fusing house, R&B, UKG, broken beat and DnB into something deeply personal yet dancefloor-ready.

A regular on Rinse FM and celebrated for her Hoer Berlin mix, Lola’s sound has caught ears far and wide - from the underground to BBC 1Xtra. She’s held down residencies at The Ned, Queen of Hoxton and The Book Club, while lighting up dancefloors at Fabric, The Cause and House of Vans. She’s shared line-ups with Goldie, Ms Dynamite, David Rodigan and Groove Armada - not bad company to keep.

As a producer under the alias Black House, her tracks have landed on major airwaves, including a ‘Get Lit Mix’ for Jeremiah Asiamah and a month-long club residency on BBC 1Xtra’s Monday Madness.

At Boisdale, she turns Thursday nights into a journey - one that starts with soul and ends wherever the rhythm leads.
