Formed in 1990, The Norm Hathaway Big Band revives the music of the Swing Era in an authentic style. They are a traditional 18-piece orchestra playing songs from the Great American Songbook, focusing on jazz from the 1920s to the love songs of the 1930s and 40s.Their repertoire includes classics by Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Harry James, and Benny Goodman, along with Latin tunes and unique arrangements by their late music director Vince Corozine.
