Reiss Ellis Beckles will be taking to the bandstand with a new outfit at the Vortex Jazz Club featuring David Berkman.
This jazz quartet features long-time collaborator Tom Rivière on double bass, distinguished drummer Tim Giles, and acclaimed New York–based pianist David Berkman. Together, they present a programme of jazz standards alongside original compositions by both Reiss Ellis Beckles and David Berkman.

David Berkman (Piano) is an acclaimed New York-based pianist and composer, celebrated for his imaginative playing and strong sense of swing. Berkman has performed with numerous jazz luminaries including: Sonny Stitt, Tom Harrell, Brian Blade, the Vanguard Orchestra, Cecil McBee, Dave Douglas and Chris Potter. A leading figure in contemporary jazz, Berkman’s work blends sophistication with emotional clarity, making him a standout presence on any stage.
