Doors 6:45 PM, Music 7:30 PM - 1 set(s) of music
Line-up:
Sylvie Noble - Voice Ursula Harrison - Double bass
About:
Bass player and winner of the BBC Young Jazz Musician 2024 Ursula Harrison and London-based vocalist and composer Sylvie Noble first met on the vibrant South-Wales jazz scene, bonding over a shared love of both jazz and folk music. They present their debut duo album New Eve, which seamlessly weaves between tales of disorder and defiance, grief and rebirth, through an intimate acoustic conversation between the voice and double bass. Combining raucous improvisation, deep grooves, and humourous interplay, New Eve provides a stripped down and deeply nostalgic glimpse into the human condition.
