Legendary New Orleans Brass Band THE SOUL REBELS is known for their electrifying blend of traditional brass, funk, soul, hip-hop, and jazz as well as their explosive stage presence. They bring the energy to every stage, harnessing the power of horns and drums in a deep pocket funk party-like atmosphere. The Soul Rebels continue to break new ground as they feature in major films, tour globally, and combine topnotch musicianship with songs that celebrate dancing, life, funk and soul. The band includes: co-founder Derrick "Oops" Moss on drums, the heartbeat of The Soul Rebels; co-founder Lumar LeBlanc, known to many as Big Cheeky and LuCavitch, one of the band's original snare drummers; Marcus "Red" Hubbard on trumpet (Rakim, DMX, Metallica, and Earth, Wind & Fire); Paul Robertson on trombone (Wu Tang Clan); Passport P on trombone; Manuel Perkins Jr. on sousaphone; Douane Waples on saxophone; and Alijah Jett on trumpet.
