Wandering Oak presents Nano Kino

Nano Kino are the dream pop manoeuvres of Sarah Suri and Duncan Lloyd, with Tom English and Phil Morgan.
Introduced by a friend, Nano Kino's songwriting core was enshrined in a shared love for the Cocteau Twins, Women, Life Without Buildings and late 80’s house music. Emerging in 2012, the band's own creative journey was soon peppered with select single and EP releases, acclaimed critically yet remaining a well-preserved secret amidst the North-East live scene. The gestation of their album took somewhat longer, and wasn't to be rushed.

Here we are: the debut Nano Kino LP Object A will be available from September 4th, on vinyl, CD and download. A patiently-honed 14-track songbook infused with hypnotic rhythm, deft guitarwork, and swells of ethereal euphoria.
This special LP launch party is a joyful rarity, following recent singles Reset and Wipeout, and live activity variously in the company of Miki Berenyi Trio, Still Corners, Arab Strap, Lewsberg and more. Cluny2 is the venue of choice, with special guest supports to be announced.
