Gore Verbinski Reveals Trailer for Time-Travel Heist Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die: Watch

For the first time since 2016, we’ve got a new movie from director Gore Verbinski (Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl) to look forward to — and this one looks like a wild ride. Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die, this first trailer reveals, features Oscar winner Sam Rockwell as a time traveler from an apocalyptic future. His goal: To save the present day… from itself.

Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die also stars Haley Lu Richardson, Michael Peña, Zazie Beetz, Asim Chandhry, Tom Taylor, and Juno Temple as some of the strangers who Rockwell’s character tries to enlist for his mission. The official synopsis, courtesy of Briarcliff Entertainment: “A man claiming to be from the future takes the patrons of an iconic Los Angeles diner hostage in search of unlikely recruits in a quest to save the world.”

Check out the new trailer, which uses the movie’s title in fun lyrical ways, below. The ensemble sci-fi comedy is set to premiere in theaters on February 13th, 2026. For more, look back at how Verbinski perfected the concept of the Asian horror remake with The Ring (2002).
