Spider-Man: Brand New Day launched with the second-biggest opening weekend in US box office history, earning a massive $355 million, and it so without the benefit of an IMAX release. That will change beginning Friday, August 7th, when Spidey officially swings into IMAX theaters nationwide. Tickets go on sale starting Tuesday, August 4th.
Brand New Day will share IMAX with Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, which continues to play across all 41 IMAX 70mm Film locations worldwide following its recent expansion through September.
