The Thomas Crown Affair is a movie so nice, they remade it twice. The newest reimagining, though, features the red-hot (post-Oscar win) Michael B. Jordan as star and director, adapting the story of a gentleman art thief through a modern lens. Adria Arjona co-stars as the insurance investigator chasing Thomas Crown down, and based on the trailer below, things are guaranteed to get steamy between them.
In addition to Jordan and Arjona, the cast includes Kenneth Branagh, Lily Gladstone, Danai Gurira, Aubrey Plaza, Ruth Negga, and Pilou Asbæk. The original Thomas Crown, released in 1968, starred Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway, followed by the 1999 remake starring Pierce Brosnan and Rene Russo. This is Jordan’s second film as director, following 2023’s Creed III. Jon Batiste will be composing the score.
