Formed in Birmingham in 2014 by acclaimed guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter Jonathan Earp, Big Wolf Band have become one of the UK’s most respected and dynamic blues rock acts. Joined by Mick Jeynes (bass), Tim Jones (drums), Justin Johnson (guitar), and Arran Shangavi (keys), the band deliver explosive live performances full of raw emotion, musical precision, and powerful storytelling.

Big Wolf Band have received national and international airplay, including BBC Radio 2, Planet Rock, HRH Radio, and FM stations across Europe, Australia, and the USA. Their albums have topped charts, including three #1 Amazon Blues Albums, and tracks from Rebel’s Journey were added to Joe Bonamassa’s Spotify playlists “Cutting Edge Blues” and “Ultimate Blues Rock.”

They’ve toured extensively across the UK and Europe, supporting artists such as Bernie Marsden, Kirk Fletcher, Elles Bailey, Chantel McGregor, Pat McManus, Ben Poole, and Climax Blues Band, and headlined major venues and festivals.

Their third studio album Rebel’s Journey (2024) hit #1 on the IBBA Chart, Amazon Best Sellers, and Hot New Releases, earning rave reviews from Rock and Blues Muse, Jace Media, Fireworks Magazine, and RnR Magazine. The band’s momentum continues into 2025 with a second European tour, new UK venues and festivals, and fresh releases on the horizon.

In 2025, the band released their second live album, “Live at Joe Joe Jims,” from a sold-out hometown show, staying in the IBBA top 40 for three months. They toured extensively, including Europe. In 2026, they're touring the UK and releasing their new EP, “Journey to the End.”
