Formed in Southern California in 1976, BLACK FLAG emerged as one of the most uncompromising and influential bands in American Hardcore. Founded by guitarist Greg Ginn, the band helped define hardcore through raw intensity, relentless touring, and music that has never been afraid to challenge expectations.
Today, Greg Ginn is joined by Max Zanelly on vocals, David Rodriguez on bass, and Bryce Weston on drums. Together, the current lineup brings renewed energy and urgency to songs from across the BLACK FLAG catalog while continuing to push the band forward.
Decades after its formation, BLACK FLAG remains loud, direct, independent, and continually pushing forward, carrying the same confrontational spirit from the underground clubs of the late 1970s to stages around the world today.
