Local guitar legend Jimmy Pinch headlines The Barrelhouse with a full band set of original roots rock.
A BBC Introducing winner, former Saint Etienne session guitarist and the man behind Totnes’ own Castle Guitars and Pinchy's Guitar Garage Jimmy blends punk-infused delta blues, slide guitar, soul, country, folk, funk and off-kilter doom jazz Americana into something raw, funny, soulful and unmistakably his own. Expect songs that veer from swampy blues stompers to Beatlesesque anthems and funky dance beats, delivered with the kind of guitar playing that only comes from a lifetime spent on stage, in studios and elbow-deep in the guts of real instruments.
With Will Tyler on drums and Andy Dickinson on bass, this promises a full-throttle performance of original, no-nonsense live music. Support acts TBC.
