Following the success of his debut show at Soul Mama, Maxwell D returns with the launch of his brand-new live music series, Maxwell D & Friends: Live Lounge.



More than just a concert, this unique evening offers an intimate behind-the-scenes look at some of the UK's most celebrated artists. The first half of the night will see Maxwell D sit down with his special guest for an open and honest conversation, exploring their personal journey, career highlights, challenges, inspirations, and experiences within the music industry.



The second half transforms into a live lounge experience, with Maxwell D, his live band, and special guests performing some of their biggest and most-loved tracks. Expect unforgettable live renditions, musical storytelling, and surprise collaborations throughout the evening.


Committed to nurturing the next generation of talent, Maxwell D will also introduce emerging artists to the stage, creating a platform where established legends and rising stars can share the spotlight.


For the first edition of the series, Maxwell welcomes award-winning UK R&B legend Wayne Marshall.
While many know Wayne Marshall for his iconic R&B hit, his musical journey stretches back much further. Performing professionally from the age of just 12, Wayne's passion for music led him to become not only a respected singer-songwriter but also a skilled studio engineer and producer. Over the years, he has worked alongside some of the most influential figures in grassroots and international music, cementing his place as one of the UK's most enduring R&B artists.
