Rebecca Ferguson returns to Boisdale of Canary Wharf with her live band, following strong demand for another close-up show. The set will feature the songs that made her name, including "Nothing’s Real But Love", "Shoulder to Shoulder", "Teach Me How to Be Loved" and "Pay For It", alongside a handful of covers chosen to sit naturally with her voice.
Rebecca is at her best when the arrangement gives her space. Her songs draw from soul, pop and R&B, but they are not built on vocal gymnastics. They work because of phrasing, control and the way she holds back until the lyric needs more weight. That makes Boisdale the right sort of room for her: close enough for the vocal detail, warm enough for a full-band sound.
"Nothing’s Real But Love" still has that big, open-hearted chorus, while "Shoulder to Shoulder" and "Teach Me How to Be Loved" show the quieter side of her writing: direct, melodic and built around feeling rather than fuss. With a live band behind her, these songs can breathe properly, away from studio gloss and television-show noise.
This is a proper singer’s show: Rebecca Ferguson, her band, the songs people came for and a few carefully chosen covers. Guests can make a full evening of it with dinner, cocktails, wines and whiskies at Boisdale of Canary Wharf, but the draw is simple: a strong British soul-pop voice in a room where every line can land.
