Anaïs Mitchell's Tony Award-winning musical arrives in Adelaide through a raw, industrial theatrical world infused with the energy of folk, jazz and underground music culture. Blending mythic storytelling with raw theatrical energy, Hadestown follows the stories of Orpheus and Eurydice, and Hades and Persephone, through a world shaped by underground industry, movement and music. With powerhouse lead performances, a dynamic ensemble and a bold contemporary aesthetic, this promises to be one of Adelaide's standout school music theatre events of 2026. .
