Kayne West was in the crowd as Pete Davidson called the controversial rapper a “gay” Nazi at Netflix’s roast of Kevin Hart.

TMZ reported that West sat “stone-faced” and “expressionless” as Davidson made Ye the butt of a joke.

After dropping some explicit wisecracks on comedian Tony Hinchcliffe, whose drawn his own infamy, Davidson said, “Tony, nothing you say tonight will hurt my feelings. I was in a beef with Kanye, so I’ve taken shots from better gay Nazis.”

West has expressed antisemitic views for which he apologized this year.

TMZ published video of Kanye in the crowd as Davidson made the joke. Davidson dated Kim Kardashian after her breakup with West, catalyzing a feud between the two men.

West wasn’t stoic the entire night, TLAP reported. He applauded when Golden-Globe winner and One Battle After Another star Teyana Taylor, who was in West’s 2016 music video for “Fade,” appeared onstage. When Dwayne Johnson introduced Hart, West smiled, reports said.

Those were far from Davidson’s only notorious remarks of the night.

While ragging on Hinchcliffe, Davidson said his fellow comedian “reminds me of Charlie Kirk, in that he definitely has been on camera letting a guy unload in his throat.”

Kirk, a right-wing political activist, was fatally shot in the neck in 2025 by an assassin.

Hosts of the Charlie Kirk Show podcast criticized Davidson’s remarks.
