The Brad Falchuk-hosted interview series Famous Last Words has just released its newest episode, as per tradition timed to launch on the day a subject passes away. This time, feminist icon Gloria Steinem (who passed away on Sept. 2nd at the age of 92), speaks about her life, as recorded in February 2025. Per a press release, the conversation “delves into her deep-seated interests in the shared origins of sex and race caste systems, the cultures of Indigenous peoples, and the vital necessity of organizing across boundaries for equality.”

As with previous episodes featuring Jane Goodall and Eric Dane, the episode concludes with her last statement to the world, published in full by Tudum. Her final thoughts include her urging viewers to “please tell your own story. This is the most important thing we can do for each other — to know each other through stories.”

Steinem’s Famous Last Words are streaming now on Netflix.
