Netflix’s Roast of Kevin Hart including some scathing jokes making light of Charlie Kirk’s death and Chelsea Handler’s one-time dinner with Jeffrey Epstein. However, a joke involving first lady Melania Trump was apparently left on the cutting room floor.
Madison Sinclair, a comic writer hired to come up with some of the jokes read by the actors, musicians, and comics who took part in last night’s roast, shared some of her nixed jokes in a new feature published by Variety.
One of them, targeting Tony Hinchcliffe, went like this: “Tony is like Melania: The only thing relevant about him is that he opened for Trump once.”
It ultimately went unread.
