Legendary rock act Triumph have announced their first tour in more than 30 years. The North American outing will celebrate the Canadian band’s 50th anniversary, and feature support from April Wine.
Other than a handful of one-off shows at special events, Triumph have not toured since 1993. The 2026 tour will kick off with a run of dates in Canada, beginning April 22nd in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, and running through a May 8th show in Calgary, Alberta. From there, the band will hit the US starting May 13th in Rosemont, Illinois, and wrapping up June 6th in Boston.
Tickets are now available via Ticketmaster. Fans can look for deals or get tickets to sold-out shows via StubHub, where orders are 110% guaranteed through StubHub’s FanProtect program
“Our fans have always been the heart of Triumph,” stated the band. “Their energy, their belief, and the way they embraced the positivity in our music have carried us for fifty years. We’ve always said these songs were meant to bring people together — and that’s exactly why we’re coming back now. We knew there was still a chapter left to write. This tour is our chance to do it, together with the people who made the Triumph journey possible.”
Triumph’s original run lasted from 1975 through 1993. The band released 10 albums during that span, three of which were certified gold by the RIAA, and one that was certified platinum (1981’s Allied Forces). Their best-known songs include “Lay It on the Line,” “Magic Power,” and “Fight the Good Fight.”
In their home country, they’ve been inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame (2025), the Canadian Music Industry Hall of Fame (2007), the Canadian Music Hall of Fame (2008), and Canada’s Walk of Fame (2019).
Triumph’s classic lineup consists of Rik Emmett (guitar, vocals), Mike Levine (bass, keyboards), and Gil Moore (drums, vocals), who will all be taking part in the 2026 tour. Toward the end of their initial run, Phil X (who currently plays guitar for Bon Jovi) joined the band as a replacement for Emmett. Earlier this year, a lineup of Emmett, Moore, and Phil X performed alongside bassist Todd Kerns and drummer Brent Fitz (both of Slash Featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators) at the NHL Finals in Edmonton.
In June, a Triumph tribute album was released featuring contributions from Slash, Sebastian Bach, Heart’s Nancy Wilson, and Anthrax’s Joey Belladonna, among others.
