After sold out events in November & March, The UK's biggest indie party in 17 cities is coming back to Glasgow for An Afternoon of Indie at The Classic Grand
Old School Indie - The indie night for the over 30s are once again joining forces with Feeling Gloomy & Age Against The Machine to bring you a special 3pm-7pm Afternoon of Indie.
Our Indie DJs will be playing a mix of indie classics from across the decades so whether you were an 70s punk, 80s new waver, 90s britpopper or early 00s poser they'll be something for everyone.
The party will finish at 7pm so you can head into town for more drinks in the sunshine (or rain) or you could just go home and watch some Saturday night TV with a take away
There is a strict door policy of no under 30s, so please bring ID as you will be asked to show it
What to expect: The best in indie from: Bowie, Pulp, Clash, Jam, Cure, Joy Division, Stone Roses, Smiths, New Order, Strokes, Supergrass, Kinks, Franz Ferdinand, Nirvana, Ash, Rolling Stones, Who, Primal Scream, Killers, Sultans of Ping, Buzzcocks, Ramones, Specials, Blondie, Hole, Madness, La's, Weezer, Cardigans, Housemartins, Coral, Undertones, Inspiral Carpets, Bloc Party, Beatles, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Radiohead, Suede, Echo and The Bunnymen, Pixies plus the odd bit of rock n roll, soul, northern soul and ska!

On-site parking available. For bands only – Two secure local car parks within 100m of venue.
The venue is NOT wheelchair accessible. Two ambiant disabled toilet are fitted but as the building is original Georgian there is no lifts at present but selected members of staff are trained for assisting disabled customers.

Minimum age of admittance: 14+ on previously agreed live performances. 18+ on all club events
