From "Night Nurse" to "Cool Down the Pace" and "Material Man", his records gave lovers rock and roots reggae some of their most enduring moments.

Terence Wallen brings the Gregory Isaacs songbook to Boisdale of Canary Wharf with a live band, honouring the Cool Ruler with the care this music demands. Wallen has previously performed as Gregory Isaacs in The Cool Ruler: The Musical at Hackney Empire, which gives him a proper connection to the material rather than just a passing familiarity.

Expect warm grooves, close vocals and those beautiful reggae melodies that never need to shout for attention. This is a night for people who know what "Night Nurse" does to a room, and for anyone ready to understand why Gregory Isaacs still holds such a deep place in Jamaican music.
