Very little parking is available in the centre of Brighton - public transport is strongly recommended.
The Royal Pavilion Ice Rink is fully accessible to wheelchair users. All exits and entrances are ramped, viewing areas and cafe are accessible and a disabled toilet is available. Wheelchair users accessible skating sessions: 10am to 10.45am every day except 16th Dec to 24th Dec 2023. If you would like to skate with us outside of these times, please email the Rink Manager at access@royalpavilionicerink.co.uk with your request, and we will do our best to accommodate you (subject to availability). Marshals will be on-hand if necessary. Electric wheelchairs are permitted but should be switched to manual setting whilst on the ice.
Visitors over 18 may purchase alcohol at the bar but may not bring their own alcohol onto the premises. Alcohol may only be drunk in the restaurant area, once visitors skates have been removed. The management reserves the right to refuse visitors entry. No bags will be allowed on the ice but lockers are available at a cost of £1 (non refundable).
Parents must judge whether their children can skate safely. The smallest skate size available for children is 25 (age approx 3 to 4 years old). Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult (aged 18 or over) to the venue Children under 8 must have an adult (aged 18 or over) with them on the ice A limited number of double runner ice skates (bob skates) and penguin skate aids are available. The ice rink is obliged to limit the number of penguin skate aids on the ice, and are only available to small children 1.2m tall or less. Skate aids are available on a first come, first served basis so customers are advised to arrive early if they require a skate aid.
